Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns had some interesting words for The Rock during a WWE live event in London.

The company is currently on a European tour. Meanwhile, a live event took place at the O2 Arena in London on April 29. The main event of the night saw the tribal leader defend his titles against Drew McIntyre. The two had a great game and Reigns emerged victorious after a second pitch.

After the match, Roman Reigns thanked the fans for watching the show as the whole arena sang to him. At one point, a fan asked, “And the Rock? » to which the tribal leader replied by saying: “The Rock can get it too.”

We could see Roman Reigns finally face The Rock at WrestleMania 39

Ever since his 2020 heel turn and the debut of the “Head of the Table” gimmick, fans have wanted to see a dream matchup between Roman Reigns and his real-life cousin, The Rock. However, for some reason, that match hasn’t happened yet.

Reports have suggested WWE are planning to finally face them at WrestleMania 39, which is set to take place in Hollywood next year.

Dave Meltzer reported much the same, stating that the match is currently scheduled and The Rock wants it too. However, WWE is aware that other commitments could also get in the way, so nothing is “set in stone” just yet.

“The belief is that Rock wants to do it. They think it’s probably the main event, but they’re all very aware that there are things that might get in the way and things that might not happen, but the idea work is Roman Reigns vs. Rock for LA But, that’s by no means set in stone. It’s been the plan for months, and months, and months, and nothing has changed. They’re d notice that he won’t back down and he really wants to, because he’s running out of time,” Dave Meltzer said.

Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion for over 600 days now. At WrestleMania 38 earlier this month, he defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Title and is now the Unified WWE Universal Champion.
